On March 20, Nuno Bento presented to the Pestana Group about the challenges of the energy security for sustainability transition. In a meeting with the directors of several hotel units of the Pestana Group, in the Pousada da Ria, Nuno reviewed the major challenges that Portugal and particular sectors such as buildings confront for decarbonization as well as the main strategies for decarbonization.
The talk also analyzed the increasing threats for business from the new geopolitical risks after the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Finally, Nuno reviewed potential synergies between reducing the exposure to energy disruptions and decarbonization.
