First results about transformative technology innovations presented in a conference
The ESTGV-IPV team presents the first results from the ongoing research in the WP2 on transformative technologies of the Sus2Trans project at the 7th International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies.
The communication entitled "A Bibliometric based Analysis to Identify Promising Domains of Decarbonization Technologies" aims to reveal the most researched emerging technologies for decarbonization, according to a systematic review that includes academic literature, projects and patents. The study uses two bibliometric databases (World of Science and Tim's) to achieve this objective.
The results show that carbon capture technologies, renewable energy sources, electric mobility, green hydrogen, and storage systems are the technology innovations that have received the most attention in the period 2013 to 2021. These results confirm the traditional supply-side orientation of research on technology innovations.
The ESTGV-IPV will represent the Sus2Trans project at the7th International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies. This conference is co-sponsored by the IEEE, a highly recognized organization in engineering. The meeting will be organized in Bol and Split, Croatia, in a hybrid model, offering both on-site and online presentations.
